About Me
I am a trainee Science teacher (Biology specialism) at the University of Manchester and a qualified ESL teacher with a CELTA qualification from the Manchester Academy of English. I taught English in China for three years, from nursery to primary school age, and it was an amazing experience. I really enjoy working with children and teenagers and helping them reach their potential, as it feels very rewarding. I also have experience working with pupils with Special Needs (Autism, ADHD..), and I am a big advocate for providing a neurodivergent society where differences are cherished and celebrated.
I am fluent in Persian and have some knowledge of Mandarin. I love travelling, learning new languages, painting as well as hiking.
My Experience
I have four years of experience working with 5-18 year olds teaching English to speakers of othe languages as well as Science (in particular Biology) at KS3 and KS4.
My Qualifications
PGCE trainee teacher in Science at the University of Manchester. I have another MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Leeds and my Bachelor's degree is in Human Nutrition from London Metropolitan University.
My Availability
I am available after 10th of July till the end of August. Ideally I can work 3 maximum 4 days as I have other commitments.

My hourly fee is negotiable, however, due to my experience, I believe this is a reasonable fee.
