About Me
I qualified as a primary school teacher specialising in the Early Years in July 2018, however am qualified to teach any age between 3-11. I received the grade 'outstanding' for my teaching practice and a distinction in my academic writing.
Previously, I studied psychology at Ulster University and received a 2:1.
My Experience
Prior to my PGCE I worked as a classroom assistant in a special needs school in Belfast in primary 2 for 2 years.
My placements on teaching practice included nursery and Ks1.
Since qualifying, I have worked as a substitute teacher in nursery right through to KS3. From January 2019 I have worked as a SEN teacher in a composite Primary 2/3 class.
