About Me
Hello I'm Katie I am currently studying primary teaching at Durham university and have jusy finished my first year and are looking to help people who are in need of babysitters over the summer. I am friendly, chatty, educated, flexible and have many qualifications regarding childcare.
My Experience
I have an A* in my level 3 diploma in childcare in which I volunteered in schools every Thursday for two years throughout. I have recently passed my first year of uni with a 2:1 and have studied topics such as safe guarding and working with children with additions needs. I have been continuing to go to placement once a week and have just completed my month block in which I was independently teaching a class of 30 children aged 4-5 years so I am very experienced in this age range. Throughout the past three years I have been at placement in a day nursery working with babies/ children ages 0-4 and recently been working in a primary school with children aged 4-11 so I have a vast range of first hand experience with children of these ages. I also work at river island Saturday mornings which hasn't broadened my customer service skills and confidence to all to others.
