About Me
I am 28 years old and currently teach Year 1 in Bideford. From 2020-2022 I was a Nanny for twins who were 8 years old. I am a QTS Qualifed teacher and have previously taught in Reception for 4 years. I have recently completed my Level 5 Specialist Teacher Diploma, where I have acquired the skills and knowledge to support children with specific learning differences. I am extremely hard working and committed to giving the best education to children to enable them to be successful. I have worked in both play based and more formal settings whilst working in Early Years, which has given me experience in where children need to start and how to get them best prepared for Year 1 and beyond! I enjoy sports, travelling and reading.
My Experience
I qualified as a Primary Teacher (with QTS) from the University of Brighton in 2016. I have just completed my second year of teaching. I have taught children from Reception up to Year 4 on my placements and teaching practices and I have also helped with small groups of Year 6 children for SATs prep. These placements have been based in East Sussex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire, in both Private and State sector schools, giving me a broad range of experiences with class sizes and teaching approaches.
