Hello,
My name is Farrell, I'm a 30 year old professional currently living in North Leigh with a full clean driving license and my own car.
I'm currently working part time while i'm completing my masters in Psychology, so i am looking for ad-hoc or a few hours a day babysitting to supplement this.
I am a very friendly, open and genuine person. In my spare time, i enjoy yoga, walking reading and travelling. I have had lots of varying experience working with children and find it enjoyable and rewarding, which is why i thought it would be a great extra thing to do.
My Experience
I have previously worked in a nursery as a room assistant, in the summer while i was a student.
I was an Au Pair in Potenza (Italy), for three months, looking after a lovely little two year old boy. This was a live in full time role, i would wake him up in the morning and give him breakfast, organise activities for his days, we enjoyed playing games, singing, going to the park and reading lots of books together. This also some nights included bed time routine too. This was a great experience as i was really part of the family.
I worked in a Kindergarten in Halle Salle (Germany) for 6 months after finishing university, this was a Red Cross Funded placement, in this i ran sessions with children aged 2-6 and we enjoyed lots of different activities from playing outside, singing, reading stories, arts and crafts, show and tell and cooking and many other activities. This again gave me lots of chance to engage with children speaking multiple languages, this was a great experience and chance to learn new ways of communicating.
I also have a nephew who is now 7 years and niece who is 2 who I have looked after since they were new born, I love to have fun and play with little ones and am always encouraging using manners and our kind voices.

I am first-aid and CPR trained.

My Availability
I am looking for after 5pm any weekday and anytime on weekends or happy to assist with school drop off.
