About Me
Hello my name is Monica and I am 26 years old. I am a qualified primary teacher with 4 years of experience and many more of working with children from all backgrounds including English with additional language and SEN. I have an up to date knowledge of the curriculum in schools and how to best support children in their learning using a range of methods to suit them.
I have a clear driving licence and DBS check on the update service with over 7 years of varied childcare experiences. I particularly enjoy working with individuals to build their confidence and enthusiasm for the subject whilst being able to give constructive and mindful feedback.

My Experience
As well as my current experience as a primary teacher, I also have a teaching assistant background with a year of full time employment and 3 of supply work as well as volunteering in the afterschool clubs. I have also taught English as a foreign language in Thailand for a summer.
My Qualifications
-PGCE Primary (currently studying).
-BA (hons) Early Childhood Studies.
-Level 3 Children’s Care Learning and Development.
Continuous personal development includes: safeguarding children, online safety with children, autism awareness, dyslexia awareness, adhd awareness, first aid qualified.
My Availability
Due to my work commitments and car sharing, I offer in person tutoring in my home or online only. I am available evenings during the week and more flexible on the weekends.
