I have been working in Early Years for over 23 years. I am passionate about children’s development and value the importance of reading, singing, being creative and enjoying the outdoors. I have two children who are now young men - and three cats ??? but also a dog ? lover.
My Experience
23 years working in nursery settings supporting and caring for children from birth to five years. I am a mum of two - and have also been a childminder. I worked for three years at Norland College supporting the Norland students becoming qualified Norland Nannies so have a deep understanding of the role of a nanny in a home setting. I have a good understanding of children's development and enjoy nurturing and promoting their love of stories, singing and being outdoors appreciating and understanding the world in which we live in.
My Qualifications
Level 2 and 3 NVQ childcare and education
Foundation Degree in Early Years
BA Hons in Early Years and Childcare
Speech and Language Elklan Level 3
Various courses in children’s behaviour including all emotions are OK
