My Summary
About Me
I love children and have over a decade of experience working with ages 1 to 17 both with and without special needs.
Separately, I have supported some of the biggest children's health charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) as a Weekend Club Volunteer for over 5 years assisting with play on the wards, activity centre and intensive care unit. I also sponsor several children from different parts of the World and have volunteered as a SEN support worker for teenagers/young adults to help with their independence and cognitive development.
I love to plan and set up activities children can get involved in such as cooking/baking, outdoor/indoor games, and art/crafting. If there is a specific activity/hobby your child enjoys doing my general approach is to encourage this and take part!
I’m able to tidy and help around the house, whether it be laundry, shopping, cooking or cleaning; and am able to help with most school work.
For children with physical/learning disabilities I use a tailored approach adapted to their needs and have helped construct activities targeting the fine motor skills for example to re-enforce learning at school.
Please do contact me if you'd be interested in discussing a potential arrangement further.
Regards,
Paris

Paris helped us for a few months with after school babysitting for our two boys (one aged 7, the other aged 12). The older boy has complex special needs and can be quite challenging. Paris was absolutely brilliant throughout this period. She was great with both kids, not fazed by anything, incredibly organised, always punctual, and completely reliable. I would highly recommend her.

I needed Paris to support my husband in looking after out two little ones while I had a week of intensive driving lessons ahead of my driving test and I'm really glad that I had her working with us! She was absolutely brilliant with the kids, super helpful around the house with folding up the kids' laundry and emptying and loading up the dishwasher and I found her to be an absolute pleasure to deal with! It took a huge weight off my mind when it came to leaving the kids for hours on end to go driving. Thanks Paris, I will definitely be reaching out again!
