My name is Alexandria and I relocated to the Manchester area from Austin, Texas, USA to start a new fun filled adventure.
Hobbies include: hiking, cooking (mostly vegetarian and gluten-free), traveling, working out, continuing education, volunteering, thrifting, DYI projects (mainly repurposing furniture), exposing myself to other cultures by attending different events or trying new restaurants and simply experiencing as much as I can in this world!
My Experience
I first started babysitting at the age of 13 and that began with caring for my younger brother with special needs.
He was diagnosed with autism(non-verbal) and diabetes at an early age and it was challenging for my parents to find someone that they could trust with Georgie, so I took on the role of big sister and occasional care taker. Taking on this experience at such a young age has molded me into who I am today and this showed me how to love all children/people regardless of their make. I genuinely care about children, their development, safety and most importantly happiness.
Most of professional career has been spent as a contracted project manager, but I gained experience caring for several families during nights and weekends.
