I am a mature and experienced nanny/nursery nurse with cache level 3 in child care and degrees and diplomas in teaching dance and yoga, with much experience teaching in schools for all age groups.
With paediatric First Aid qualification along with Prevent, Child Counselling, Safeguarding and level 4 in advanced Speech and Language therapy.
I have a love of nature, fitness, animals, music, theatre, dance, yoga, cooking (especially vegetarian) and art. I speak intermediate Spanish, ice skate and am able to horse ride to a basic level. I enjoy playing the piano although a forever learner!
I am energetic, calm natured and relaxed with a kind nature. Always reliable, hard working and and dedicated to my role. I absolutely support children’s well being and safety at all times and meticulously plan activities that are age appropriate, that children enjoy and learn from and be inspired by. I believe in teaching children manners, kindness and respectfulness in a loving and positive way.

My Experience
After my initial NNEB training I worked as a private nanny and nursery nurse before continuing on to take my professional dance degrees and becoming a dance teacher. As well as being principal dancer in my own school, I was called to teach musical theatre in many primary and secondary schools.
I took a few years out from child care and travelled the world with British Airways as cabin crew. Working as a team member and team leader in sometimes challenging situations which was an invaluable experience.
Having moved with my daughter to Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, I have been dance and yoga teacher in an independent boarding school and also a drama teacher one day per week in a Primary school. I have also worked as cover teacher across many secondary schools and 1:1 in some Primary.
I am now working as a private nanny to two wonderful children aged 3 and 7yrs but would like to pick up some extra work nannying/ babysitting evening and weekends.
It has been some years since I have looked after babies.
