Hello im called Abi, i am 22 years old. My qualification is BTEC National Diploma in Early Years Level 3. I am currently after changing my job role from a supply Nursery Nurse to being a Nanny. I own a car and have had a full UK driving licence for four years. I have recently come out of University and gained a certificate in higher education. I came out of a course called Childrens Inter-Professional Studies, this was a hard decision to make.
I go horse riding. go shopping, go to the gym and go swimming. I like spending time with my friends, family and my partner. I am very child orientated and i have been since high school. I used to play the clarinet and i was also a young leader at my local brownies troop.
My Experience
Throughout my time in education i have been given the chance to go on many different placements, whether these have been with a childminder, in a school, working with midwives etc. I have a full CRB Check and I am willing to be OFSTED registered if this is required for who you are looking for.
I have gained plenty of experience with working with children of all ages whether it is from newborn to 16 years of age. I used to babysit for two little girls when I was 16 years old and stopped when I was 18 years old because there parents circumstances changed.
I have worked with children who have behavioural difficulties, who are vulnerable, and also some children who have special educational needs. I currently volunteer at Issac Newton Youth Club on a Wednesday and Thursday night.
