Hello , my names Sophia. I was born in London, UK and grew up in a lovely household with my brother and my Mother. I am 21 years old. Growing up I had a passion for cooking and sports. My education is really important to me and I enjoy learning new things every day. As I was growing up I could see children of my age in Many countries struggling to go to school because of their circumstances. It’s always been my goal in life to work in early year’s and see children achieve their ambitions and just be happy. Helping them to achieve what they want in life is a big ambition of mine. My role in placements is to help children- singing with them listening to them and reading with them. Every time I have worked with children I have enjoyed it. I consider myself as a hardworking and self-motivated individual who enjoys facing challenges and finding a professional way to deal with them. My future plans are to complete my diploma of “Psychology with Educational . Psychology involves the study of how people learn, including topics such as student outcomes, instructional procedures, personal differences in learning, gifted learners or learning disabilities and this is why I love working with children. I feel strongly about helping others and helping them achieve their goals. I also hope to start my own workshop for kids in the near future, these special workshops can help parents understand early behaviour in their children and how to improve.

Baby sitting my cousin’s children (this included) a 2 year old ,a 9 year old and a 4 year old . In this experience My main responsibilities were picking up the children from nursery . The 9 year old was actually home schooled . When I brought home the kids. I would make a snack/food . I would also play with them( painting , magnetic letters, drawing , soft toys . On Sunday’s I would take the kids to Hyde park to enjoy the afternoon and we would have picnics. 3-7pm
I have also Worked with babies in a crèche.
We feed them interacted with them, changed their nappies and also would put them in their beds for sleep. 12-18:00.
I have also worked with kids from 5-6 years old in London nurseries. I know a little bit of french so when the french teacher would come in and sing along with her which the children really loved. I would serve them their food help and most importantly made sure they were always safe. A typical day here would have been from 9am - 6pm.

G.C.S.E - PASS INCLUDED MATHS , ENGLISH , FRENCH, ART , PHYSICAL EDUCATION.
