My Experience
I am currently employed as the room leader and SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator) in a large private nursery in the baby room.
I have built a breadth of experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage through my employment within schools and nurseries as a teaching assistant and nursery nurse. I also have experience of working with challenging behaviour as I worked in a residential home for young people in crisis in 2019.
I enjoy using my creativity in providing suitable activities to children in supporting their holistic development such as painting with edible paints, and making mosaics with recycled materials. In a previous role, I supported children’s speech and language development, through providing targeted support groups whilst using Makaton signing throughout.
