About Me
I have worked in the Childcare industry for 6 years in varias roles including nursery nurse, teaching assistant, SEN link worker and afterschool club team. I have just came back from a career break of 8 months of travel to varias countries across the world to learn about different cultures and broaden my perspective on the world. I have always loved working with children, they remind me what is important in life. It is my passion and seems to be my niche! I have always been described as calm, caring and patient which I feel are the traits that make me and children get on so well. Due to my past jobs I have a range of experience that supports the development of children which I have noted in the box below.
My Experience
I worked as a teaching assistant for 4 years for ages 2 - 11. Most of my time at Our Lady Immaculate Primary School I worked in the nursery and reception. I was also a one to one for a boy with ASD in this time from the transisition from Nursery to Reception. My Key Worker group was SEN focused and I supported children with a variety of Special needs including ASD, ADHD, Aspergers and EAL.
I then got the Role as SEN Link Worker at my local Children's Centre (Sure start). My role here involved me supporting families with Special needs. I ran Speech support groups including Chatterbox and a weekly singing group. I also ran a group called nature club to encourage parents to get out in nature with their children. Take risks, build resisilience and have some fun! I also have experience caring for babies through family and friends.
My Qualifications
*NCFE Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young people's workforce. (Early learning and Childcare)
*First aid trained
*Building blocks of communication
*Food hygiene and preperation

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.50 per hour
- Nursery work from £10.00 per hour
£9.50 per hour. £10.00 for weekends and emergencies.
