About Me
Hi there, welcome to my profile, my name is Nicola and I recently moved to Cranleigh with my husband and two children.
By profession, I am a qualified primary school teacher, but recently I made the decision to become a childminder. I am passionate and enthusiastic about working with children of all ages and aim to offer a small intimate setting where your child can come to learn, play and develop in a home from home environment. I am very much looking forward to working closely with children and their families in order to give them the best foundations in these vital early years.
My setting has its very own cozy cabin in our large enclosed garden and an additional playroom in the house. My aim is to provide the children with lots of opportunities to explore and play whilst socialising and gaining confidence in a safe and comfortable environment.
Being located within 10 minutes of Cranleigh and less than 5 minutes from the park is ideal for lots of outings and makes attending local groups easy and accessible.
My Experience
Having worked with children for 15 years I have a wide range of experience including:
•Children from 4 months old-13 years old.
•Children with EAL.
•Children with SEN.
My Qualifications
•First class honours degree in Primary Education with QTS.
•Safeguarding training.
•Ofsted approved 12 hour paediatric first aid training.
•Delivering EYFS training.
•Enhanced DBS check.
•Full UK driving license.
My Availability
Term time only with adhoc holidays on advance request.
