About Me
I am level 3 qualified in childcare and hold a recently updated Paediatric first aid certificate.I live in Noak Bridge.
I have 3 grown up children and have been married now for 25 years.
At the moment I am in the process of becoming a Registered Childminder. This can take some time to achieve, due to all the relevant checks that are needed, such as the enhanced DBS.
I am looking forward to getting back into childcare. As i love being around children and watching them grow and develop into little independent people. Every little milestone they achieve is still amazing to me.
I consider myself to be a friendly and approachable person.I strongly believe the parent knows their child the best.So I would follow the parents routines and wishes.Which is key for helping the child to feel more relaxed and comfortable, when they are being cared for by someone else.
I understand the need for family confidentiality and the importance of this.I also consider myself as a very honest and reliable person.
I can offer a good quality baby sitting/Nannying service , due to my experience and knowledge that I have gained over the years. I am able offer parents some flexibility at this time, feel free to ask me questions.
My Experience
-I have worked in nursery’s in the past, mainly focusing on the under 2’s
-I have worked as a childminder for a while, whilst my children were little.
-I have worked in an infant school in Billericay, as a midday assistant. When my youngest boy was in year 2
My Qualifications
I hold 2 childcare qualifications
N.N.E.B - gained in 1990
N.V.Q Level 3 -gained in 1995
To help with becoming a Registered Childminder and to update my knowledge. I have completed the Online Introductory Training Course for childminders with Childminding Uk.This is a level 3 CPD accredited and Ofsted recognised course. Which covers modules such as the EYFS, developing learning and Safeguarding children.
I have just completed a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid, level 3 Course.
Ofsted recognised.It was completed on 26th July 2019.
