My Summary

My Experience

Once I had finished my years at high school, I attended Stanmore college where I achieved my level 3 in Health and Social Care. Whilst I was at college, I was able to maintain two jobs. One job is a party host at a soft play children's centre and the second job was working as an Early Years Educator in a children centre allowing me to work with vulnerable families and children with special needs. Once I had achieved my qualification at college, I worked full time for the council at a range of children centres across Harrow. I had the opportunity to receive in-house training on topics such as safeguarding. I also worked closely with parents and their children in being able to learn and develop in the best way possible.I worked at the Children Centre for 2 years and then moved on to work in a state nursery for 6 months where I was a keyworker for a group of children working closely with them in reaching their full potential. I then returned to the children centre for another 6 months. This also gave me the opportunity to work with many professionals such as a child psychologist. I then began working at a Montessori Nursery located in Pinner and this is where I currently work. Whilst I am employed here, I am working towards achieving my level 3 childcare qualification as well as a C grade in ICT and mathematics. This should be completed by September 2019. Whilst I have been working at this nursery, I am a trainee early years educator where I have a group of key children. In this nursery, I am currently working with the three-year-olds however, I will also have the chance to work with children of other ages. I have also received in-house training such as speech and language. I have received out-house training as well. This includes; autism and Asperger's awareness, first aid, food hygiene, promoting childrens emotional health and well being etc.

My Qualifications

I have a level three Health and Social Care diploma and I have almost finished my level three childcare diploma.

My Availability

Due to my current job at the nursery, I am unable to babysit during the day Monday to Friday however I can babysit at any time during the weekend. I receive my hours for work weekly and so I will be able to notify you if I can do certain times. I will never be able to do before half 4 pm or after 9 am during the week due to the different shifts that I may have at work.
