About Me
I am a very chatty, friendly and reliable person who likes travelling and meeting people from around the world. Family is extremely important to me; at home I live with my parents, younger brother, dog and two cats. I am always full of energy so love working with children and animals.
In my spare time I enjoy baking, running, swimming, surfing (when on holiday as Cambridge is landlocked!) and playing the piano, bass guitar and double bass. I am a bit of an adventurer and love hiking in mountains, skiing, canoeing, anything so long as it is outdoors!
My Experience
I love working with children and have experience babysitting for several years now. In October, I spent a month as an au pair in the south of Italy which I thoroughly enjoyed and since then have nannied in the UK for children aged 4 months (twins) up to 7 years.
I have also looked after children whose native language is not English, teaching them English through play. I have a good level of Italian and French and a basic level of Spanish.
I volunteer at a care home in my village for elderly people with dementia as I enjoy caring for others, something that has given me important skills and experience in communicating with others and making their lives happier. I also volunteered last year once every two weeks at a local primary school teaching children French.
My Qualifications
I have taken A levels in French, Chemistry and Biology and an Italian AS level. I also have a valid UK driving license.
My Availability
Early August to late October, and during school holidays.
I am also available as a babysitter :)
