About Me
I am a qualified Primary School teacher with eight years experience teaching both in the UK and abroad. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature and will be studying for a Masters in Art Education next year.
As a resourceful and creative teacher, I have very strong skills in both lesson planning and delivering. I take real pride and pleasure in creating enjoyable lessons where the learning is child-lead and exciting.
My experience as a class teacher has given me excellent skills around pupil progress and I have always ensured that children I work with succeed to their full potential. Working as a private tutor for several families in Vietnam and Australia allowed me to develop skills in meeting varying needs and learning styles for different students.
My Experience
I have worked as a Year 2 teacher and leader of PSHCE in an Outstanding primary school in Notting Hill for three years. I then taught abroad at an IB school in Tokyo, before starting a role at a partner school in South Kensington as a Year 2 teacher and PSHCE leader.
I currently teach Year 3 at a school in Hackney Central and am the subject leader for Art. I love my work and take pride and pleasure in planning and delivering stimulating and exciting lessons.
I have an excellent record for pupil progress and, having 30 children in a class, have a solid understanding of how to adapt learning to different children to match their needs and attainment levels.
Prior to working as a class teacher, I was a private tutor to adults studying for the IELTS exam and to children learning English in Vietnam.
