Hi! I’m Manveer and I’m 25 years old. I really enjoy working with children as I’m a bubbly, energetic and outgoing person who loves to have fun! I am organised and reliable, as well as quick at completing things to my full potential. I am very self-motivated as I am a passionate visual artist; my creativity and self-confidence allows me to always bring forward fresh ideas with great enthusiasm. I enjoy keeping active in the gym, going to music events and art exhibitions, and spending time in my art studio experimenting and allowing myself to grow as an artist! I also enjoy driving, and am able to commute and drive to/from school.

I’ve worked with children aged 6 months up to early teens. This has allowed me to gain experience and knowledge with what different types of care children need, and allowed me to quickly adapt to them to the best of my ability. I have experience working in nursery environments with children aged 0-5 years. I also have experience working with secondary school students as part of an after school study group for GCSE students.
My previous family had 3 children who I worked with from age 8, 10, and 12. I would do morning routine of waking up, getting ready for school, breakfast and drop off to school every morning. I would then collect them from school and assist them with completing daily tasks and chores required, followed by homework, extra curricular activities and bedtime routine at around 8pm. I also did light housework such as cooking, washing and cleaning to keep the house tidy throughout the day to help out the parent as much as possible. I also dog-sitted for them regularly and did overnight stays/babysitting frequently. I formed a strong bond with the family and consider them my own! Similarly, I shortly worked with a family with children aged 4 and 7, and another with children aged 6 and 11.
I’m open to taking the children out and about to local places such as the park or the library to keep them engaged.
My Qualifications
- Full clean DBS check
- Full drivers licence
- 13 A*-B GCSE qualifications (Maths/English Lit & Lang/Sciences/IT/French/Punjabi/History/Art/RE/PE)
- A Levels (Psychology - A, Fine Art - A, History - B, English Language - C)
- Former teaching assistant in secondary school
- Nursery assistant experience
- Previous nanny
- Ongoing experience babysitting for numerous family members
