About Me
I live in Maidenhead with my wife, twin girls and 3 dogs. I enjoy being out and about as much as possible, and seeing friends and family.
I enjoy swimming, bowling, going to the cinema and taking the dogs on nice long walks. I also enjoy going down to the south coast at weekends when possible.
I provide many activities for the children in my care including going to the park, feeding the ducks, going to the local play gym, the local library for story time and toddler groups around the area.
Activities in the setting include mark making, sand and water play, construction, puzzles, baking and spending time in the garden where the children can plant fruits and vegetables and pick them when they are ready.
I have a purpose built play room in my garden which is full of fun resources for all aged children. I have a free flow policy which means the children can play inside or outside as they wish.
My Experience
I have worked with children for nearly 20 years, in a nursery, in a crèche, as a nanny and now as a childminder. I have experience with ages 0-8 and some special needs knowledge and experience.
At my last Ofsted inspection, I was graded Good.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Childcare and Education level 3.
Cache Childminding Qualification.
Safeguarding Certificate.
Paediatric 1st Aid.
Food Hygiene level 2.

Ellie is wonderful. She looked after my son 10 years ago for a number of years and now has been minding my daughter for 2 years.
The range of activities they do is incredible and the rate of learning is outstanding! My daughter adores her time with Ellie, she comes home everyday having learnt something new and is always desperate to get back there after the weekend.
I would recommend her services to anyone with a young child who needs the reassurance that their child would be safe, happy, and learning. Her communication is outstanding with updates as often as you want. It is clear that she is heads above the rest when you speak to your mum friends who have children being cared for elsewhere.

Ellie has been looking after my son for over a year now. She is friendly and professional. As soon as I walked into Ellie's house, I knew I could stop interviewing childminders. She is always sensitive to my son's needs. She provides excellent feedback on his development, as well as his daily activities. Ellie makes sure the children in her care experience a variety of activities as well as learning opportunities.
