About Me
I am 32 years old and will be moving to Bristol in October 2019. I have just returned from a travelling stint for the past 8 months. I would say I am hardworking, thoughtful, organised, and enjoy being around children. I am currently trying to learn Spanish and enjoy cooking, reading, exercising.
My Experience
The majority of my career has been in the NGO sector, although realising how much I enjoyed looking after children and beings around them, I decided last year to volunteer at a children’s nursery. For 8 months, one day a week, I would develop activities for young children (songs, reading activities, painting etc.), help them with their food and encourage to try new things, give them affection and talk to them about what they like, make sure they were safe at all times. Furthermore, I am one of the oldest of 8 siblings and I have been surrounded by young children for most of my life. I feel I have a natural ability to look after children as this is something I have always done and loved. I am a good cook and can prepare meals to your liking. I also feel it isn’t more important that parent/s feel comfort with me minding their child/ren.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked and hold a BA (home) Law and Criminology.
My Availability
At the moment I am quite flexible, but times could change when I start to settle in Bristol. Open to discussion.
