Hi, I am Italian (21 y/o) and I am a student at Aberdeen university.
I have experience with children between 2 and 11 y/o, and I have been working with multiple families that can provide references.
I was an au pair twice, so I have experience following the kids in different activities, from assisting them on school related activities, such as playing with them, bringing them to school or their sport activities, preparing meals, bed time routine and so on.
Indoor activities I use to do include (depending on the kids age and their preferences) : arts and crafts, baking, imaginative play, story time, building a den, occasional movie night (of course an animation one, my favorites is probably Coco. Yes, I still enjoy animation films, they are incredible and they can be educational as well), face painting, dressing up and so on.
Outdoor activities: balls games, bike rides, walks, exploring the nature (observing and learning about plants and animals), rock painting, gardening
Also I play the piano and the ukulele, so I am available for lessons as well if you are interested.
My Experience
I have been working for two families.
I worked with the first one for one year, looking after boys of 7/8 and 10. And I was with the second one for six months, we even quarantined together, which gave me the opportunity to developed my childcare skills.
If needed I can put you in contact with those families.
My Qualifications
I do not have formal qualification in childcare, but I have multiple years experience and I can provide references.
I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree at Aberdeen university.
My Availability
Weekly mornings:always available until 9 AM
Weekly afternoons: available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Weekends and Wednesday:available all day
