About Me
My name is Silvia, I am 26 years old spanish teacher. I have a Degree in Early Childhood Education, at the University of Valencia and the QTS. I also have a Master in Montessori Pedagogy. In London I worked as a nanny for one year, and I also worked as a nursery teacher for almost other year. After I worked as a Teacher Lead in a Montessori school. Now I am working in a mainstream school in Clerkenwell (10 minutes walking from King Cross)
My native languages are Spanish and Catalan. I speak fluent English, and I have a B2 level of French too. I am learning Italian now, I have fully understanding and I can speak it a bit too.
I am available to do babysittings from 4pm Tuesday to Friday (and also Saturday mornings). I also offer Spanish lessons to children up to 8 years old, and normal lessons (maths, phonics, etc) to children up to Year 1 (that are the ages I have experience working in schools).
My Experience
In Spain I worked as a private teacher for 5 children for two years, and as a teacher assistant in a public school. I also worked as a manager in a playroom, as an instructor in a summer school for two years, and as a farm monitor school too. I was a leisure monitor as a volunteer with a group of children between 8 to 12 years for 6 years. I started working in London as an au pair and as a nanny. After I worked as a Qualified Nursery Practicioner in Putney, for almost one year. Then I worked as a Lead Class Teacher in a Montessori school in Walthamstow. Now I am in a Year 1 class in a mainstream school in Clerkenwell. I have been always surrounded by children so I have experience in caring for children, girls and boys, newborns and children between 2 to 12 years old!
My Qualifications
Degree in Preschool Education at University of Valencia, Spain.
QTS.
Master's in Mongessori Pedagogy
First Aid Trainging.
DBS.
My Availability
I am available to babysit and also I offer Spanish lessons to children up to 8 years old, and normal lessons (maths, phonics, etc) to children up to Year 1 (that are the ages I have experience working in schools) from 3.45pm on weekdays (that is when I finish my work at shcool). If possible maximum 45 minutes travel from EC1R 4PQ (where I work) or maximum 45 minutes from East Acton (where I live). I can do online lessons and we can negotiate for weekend lessons too.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
For babysitting fees can change depending on the hours needed or days per week. For Spanish lessons fees can change depending on children age, level and how many children I will be teaching at the same time.
