About Me
I'm 42, I live in Bow which is between Crediton and Okehampton. I live with my husband, five of our nine children and my 7 month old granddaughter. My children range from 25- 8 years old, and with only having five left at home I feel I want to offer my help and services to those families who need it.
As family we have dogs and birds of prey. The dogs have their own sections both indoors and outdoors so they won't come into contact with the children. The birds are kept securely at the top of the garden.
I do have availability for childcare in Bow.

My Experience
Over the years I feel I have gained a large experience in supporting children with special needs; with my now grown up son being diagnosed with Autism when he was younger it sparked an interest in me wanting to support families more professionally with their children, although I do not have any qualifications I was able to gain experience of supporting different children with their different needs.
I supported a boy who has autism during his lunchtimes at the local school, this supported ended once he moved schools. I have also supported different children in scouting; a boy with Pathological Demand Avoidance until he was old enough to live the group, I currently support a child with Down's and a child with autism. I have also cared for a child from the age of 10 months to 18 months. I occasionally care for an 8 year old boy with Down's and his sister who is 4 and I also do wrap around care for a child who is 5 three times a week. All the care I have and continue to provide in my own home has never been under the terms of being registered and neither do I claim I am.
My Qualifications
I gained GCSE's however I haven't got any further qualifications due to being a full time mum for many years; having said this I researched a lot into childcare and the different needs through doing online courses and reading i feel as though I have enough experience in caring for children without needing to have a qualification.I have completed safeguarding training at school where i volunteered.
My Availability
Weekdays 7:30-18:30 ( Thursday afterschool is to be discussed)
I am happy to do overnight and occasional weekends
I can provide meals, but we can discuss the added cost of these together.
I am unable to drop- off or collect from different schools other than Bow school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Evenings/ nighttime £10 per hour and weekend to be discussed. The additional price of meals can be discussed if this is something you would want me to provide.
