About Me
I am a fourth-year student at the University of Leeds studying a joint-honours degree in History and Russian, so I'm able to help with homework, if required, and am generally quite flexible with hours. I love music (I have Grade 8 Flute) and reading - the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis are probably my favourite children's books. I love working with children and am really keen to gain some more experience, I'm more than happy to help out with whatever needs doing - childcare, household chores, cooking etc.
My Experience
I have 4 years experience working with children in different contexts. As well as some babysitting experience, I volunteered to help lead children aged 4-7 at Sunday school, and have experience volunteering on numerous Christian camps with children ranging from the ages of 8-11. To accommodate this I received full safe-guarding training and a DBS check. I also spent 3 years volunteering at my local hospice, so have experience with general housekeeping and hospitality chores.
My Qualifications
I am TEFL qualified. With regard to academic qualifications, I have 11 GCSEs including Maths and English, and A-Levels in Biology, History and Russian. I am currently studying for a Bachelor' degree in History and Russian.
My Availability
Being a student, I recognise that my available hours don't have much of a pattern to them but I am quite flexible and happy to work unusual/unsociable hours.
