About Me
I am an experienced and enthusiastic New Zealand international looking to undertake a nannying role while staying in the UK to develop my international rugby skills and qualifications. I am passionate about children, specifically during early years development and those with special needs. Sport and creativity are very close to my heart and i am committed to creating a loving and fun environment where children can thrive and learn. I am responsible, organised and have a highly proactive nature.
My Experience
I am young, but experienced nanny having previously worked with a variety of families of varying sizes in Oamaru (New Zealand) over the past 4 years. This was both during my final years at High school and in the two years following. I also have extensive experience of sports coaching for young children and teenagers.
Nannying Experience:
- 05/2019 to 11/2019, lived with a family of 6 as a permanent au pair, and worked with their 4 children aged between 1 to 6. Key duties involved pre and post school run, provided both breakfast and dinner to all children, after school care (including homework observation and assistance) and occasional evening babysitting
- 03/2018 to 04/2019, full time nanny of a 10 yer old Autistic boy. Key duties involved post school pick up, personally designed and coaching him through physical activity training to enhance his ability to partake in school sport, homework observation and assistance, dinnertime and bedtime routines
- 02/2017 to 12/2017 after school care for a group of 7 children. This included school pick up (walking), after school activities (namely sport or games), homework or reading observation and dinnertime.
Coaching Experienced
- 02/2017 to 11/2019, under 18's, under 16's and under 6's rugby coaching for mixed groups and girls. Personally designed and ran a variety of coaching session with an assistant coach. Depending on the age group, session were 30-120 minutes 3 x per week
- 02/2015 to 11/2016, under 14th basketball coaching for the women's Waitaki Warriors (high school team). Personally designed and ran skills coaching sessions as part of the wider coaching set up
