About Me
I am currently studying for my art degree and looking for some part time work. I aim to complete teacher training after my degree and love working with children. I am able to cycle to reach locations in and around Ipswich, but will not be able to transport children unless it is via public transport. I love doing arts and crafts and making up silly games with children, as well as reading and teaching. I am a good seamstress and cook and have experience in catering for children.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in a private primary school and so have experience working closely with children ages 2-11, I also have experience as a scout leader from 2014 to now and so I also have experience with children ages 10-15. I am used to caring for children in a residential setting from scouts and looking after children on overnight stays. I also have multiple training in various aspects of working with children from both of these work experiences. I have also got experience in babysitting and putting children to bed as well as child minding my young cousin (aged 2) and can cope with nappies, and other messier aspects of younger child care!
