About Me
I am happily married, a proud mother to 3 grown up successful children and a nanny to 4 amazing grandchildren who I adore. I live in Whitton opposite Nelson School. I have made the decision to leave my post at a local school where I worked for 20+ years to embark on a new career of becoming a childminder. I consider myself to be an extremely warm, caring, happy, considerate person with a cheerful outlook on life. I believe every child is entitled to receiving the best possible outcomes in order for them to strive to become the best they can be. I am currently waiting for Ofsted to visit to complete my registration.
My Experience
My experience is wide and varied. Firstly being a mum to my three children and watching and supporting them to grow into the successful people they are today. My childcare experience outside my home began 30 years ago when I set up and established a pre-school for under 5's. I then moved into schools, as I wanted to expand my experience of working with older children. I moved around all key stages, supporting whole classes and working with children in small groups delivering various interventions. I spent most of my school career in early years where my last position was leading my own nursery class which I loved as I could take ownership of their individual learning and support their overall development. I had a couple of years working for the Children's Centre within the school where I supported vulnerable families as an outreach worker and delivering different sessions throughout the week for babies, children and their parents.

My Availability
I will be available from the middle of August for settling in and looking to start minding in September 2020.

I will discuss my fees for my services with each family depending on whether it's a full or part time place needed and the age of the child.
