Hi there! My name is lourdez and my journey with children has been a life long endeavour! I come from a massive tight knit family with 9 siblings so growing up the eldest has always given me a head start with experiences, from a young age because I have so much siblings I’ve been so used to taking care of/helping to grow my siblings and teaching them things that maybe I might have already learnt to help them in the future and that’s really where my love for children stemmed from, being able to contribute to a child’s learning and development is probably one of the most rewarding things to be able to do for a child and is one of the reasons I fell in love with working with them. I already have a naturally bubbly personality so I tend to connect with children very well which is why I went down the route of working in numerous nurseries and preschools with children because I knew that I could really help make a difference to these children’s lives but also teach them so many new skills whilst earning my qualifications at the same time so it went hand in hand. During that time, I had selected key children that I would be responsible for learning wise and generally through out the day which I would then, do Individual reports for parents in their key books with all up to date info on their child’s learning and development just to keep them in the loop as it is important for children to have strong steady foundations. For me childcare is more than just looking after a child, it’s about knowing what that child needs and what’s best to help them grow and develop not every child learns/picks things up the same so I believe that all kinds of learning is necessary and that’s why I have such a passion for childcare because nothing is ever the same and it has taught me so much about children including patience, why choose me as a nanny? I will always ensure the childs needs are at heart and also that the child enjoys themselves too wether that be day trips or doing little activities in the house I am confident and comfortable enough to assure you you’re child will be in good and safe hands!
