Hello!
I am a friendly, caring and outgoing individual looking for odd babysitting jobs around the Plymouth area. I am a qualified primary and Early Years teacher, currently working in a nursery. I have experience with babies all the way through to ages 7/8.
I studied a BA Hons in Archaeology where I graduated in 2020 and worked in the commercial field 2 years ago- it is such an interesting subject, and has taught me loads!

My Experience
I am currently working in a nursery where I am based in the wonderful baby room (3-18months), but am moved around regularly to cover in various other areas of the nursery.
Responsibilities vary from room to room, but mainly supporting and encouraging a child led style of learning, while also keeping on top of personal care (nappies etc) are key to the role. I work closely with children who have additional needs, and have successfully developed trusting relationships with all children that allows me to plan in the moment in a way that benefits and excels their learning.
Last year during my PGCE studies I was based in two classes throughout the course- a year 1 class and a reception class. This wide range of experience has given me the opportunity to interact with children of all ages.
Experience with SEND.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Early Career Teacher with a focus on the Early Years.
I hold a bachelors degree in Archaeology.
I own a car with a full clean license.
Enhanced DBS check.
My Availability
I am available most evenings and weekends, and currently have Fridays consistently off work.
