About Me
Dear Families,
I am interested in applying for part time tutoring/nanny role. I have worked in education and childcare in a variety of roles and settings for over 20 years. I moved back to London 4 years ago from teaching in Cairo, Egypt as a Nursery/year 1 teacher. I also lived and worked in Cambodia as a reception teacher and learning support teacher at iCan British International School in Phnom Penh both schools use the British National Curriculum, British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Before these roles, I have experience in leadership and nursery management posts. I am a native English speaker and a British citizen. I believe that my varied early years experience as well as my passionate and care for babies and children would make me a valuable addition to your family.
I completed a cache level 3 diploma in nursery nursing (NNEB) qualification 17 years ago and have since completed many professional developments courses. I now hold a PGCEi, which has given me a strong educational foundation and skills in tutoring and mentoring children. I am happy to work with parents to encourage children's growth and developments. I am committed to providing excellent care for the children in my care. My passion lies in nurturing a child’s social, emotional and academic development so that they learn to love the process of learning and feel safe in a happy environment.
I stick to schedules and am very organised. More importantly the children in my care have fun, are happy and learn through creative activities. I hope you agree that I could make a positive impact and would take great care of your little one and would welcome interviews at your convenience.

My Experience
Having worked in a huge range of settings throughout my career, I am a flexible and passionate childcarer who is committed to, and has experience of, adapting to the needs and requirements of the families that I work with. In my most recent role, I have been part of the literacy, cooperative learning, learning support and early years teams. I am also in charge of planning phonics sessions across early years, and have successfully incorporated concepts such as growth mindset, looking for learning, personal goals and mindfulness into my lessons. You will also note from my CV that I have extensive experience working with children with English as an additional language. I currently am the room leader of a lovey baby room.
I love reading and creating hands on activities, baking and travelling. I loved being a nanny and miss the home environment and going to parks and museums with the little ones!
I have an updated paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding, DBS and many other certifications gained this year with NDNA, Educare and COBIS.

I already work three days at a school. I have Mondays free all day after school drop off. And Friday mornings.
