About Me
I am a 23 year old part time law student, studying online whilst living in Bedminster. I am a warm, friendly and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a patient and approachable rapport with children. My interests include baking, arts and crafts, reading, yoga and spending time outdoors, and I love coming up with fun and creative ways to entertain children. I live an active and healthy lifestyle and believe this to be a positive influence for children. I have A-levels in Maths, Biology and History and would be happy to assist with homework/tutoring if necessary. I have been driving for 6 years and have my own car, if needed.
My Experience
I have worked as a live in nanny for three children in Sydney (ages 7, 9 and 11), duties included morning routine and doing the school run, light housework, cooking dinner and generally playing and spending time with the children. I have also been a nanny for a 1 year old girl, my role covered everything from waking her up in the morning, making her meals, coming up with fun activities for us to do and providing general care until her parents got home from work. Most recently, I provided part-time childcare for three children in Bristol, from nursery/school pick-up until bedtime. I also provided school-holiday care as and when was needed.
These childcare experiences have enabled me to develop the skills necessary to provide a safe, caring and happy environment for young children, including dealing with separation anxiety and sibling arguments, cooking healthy balanced meals and encouraging creative play! I enjoy working with children of all ages and consider myself to be extremely flexible and adaptable to different family norms and am always respectful of the need to follow parents guidelines.
