About Me
I am a primary school teacher who works in the Watford/ Rickmansworth area.
I champion children developing a growth mindset by building resilience and self-belief. These are traits children need to learn in order to succeed not just in school but in our ever-changing world.
In the first session, it is important to assess what the child already knows, identify the gaps in their learning and unpick any misconceptions. This helps me to tailor my lessons to your child. Some children need additional time to reinforce previous learning and some children may need challenging in order to reach the next step. I will use my knowledge of the primary school curriculum to identify what your child needs in order to progress.

My Experience
Since 2017 I have worked in schools and have been teaching since 2021. I especially enjoy teaching children who find learning challenging, giving them the skills and confidence to excel by making learning creative and fun. When working with children who have additional needs, I feel it is important to get an understanding of their individual needs and adapt my teaching approach to ensure progression.
