Hi I'm Ciara. I'm a student, currently studying Environmental Sciences at University. I have always grown up in a very large and close Irish family, which has given me amazing experience working with children my entire life. I am highly responsible, trustworthy, and punctual, with a flexible schedule which enables me to aim to best fit your needs.
I am passionate about working with children, as I believe commitment to their education and well being at a young age helps to sculpt a bright future! I believe I also have a wide range of interests and qualifications, meaning I am able to assist with both studious and creative interests/ teaching.
In my spare time my hobbies and interests include painting, and I have had work featured in a gallery in Trafalgar Square. I enjoy sports, such as anything water based, from swimming, to scuba diving, to surfing. To relax I enjoy playing music; I can read music, and have been playing drums and bass guitar for over 10 years now. I also love animals, so if you have any pets I will be comfortable around them, and can also offer to help out.
My Experience
I have experienced working with children around ages 5-12, having volunteered at Scouts. I also have worked as a nanny for children aged 2/3, 6, and 10.
This past year I have cared for a 3 year old (aged 2 when I joined them), from September until presently- he is soon to start pre school so sadly I have come to the end of my time with them, but it was a pleasure being with them and has given me amazing experience caring for toddlers and learning their necessary routines.
This past academic year I have also worked for a family with two children aged 6 and 10- this has made me very experienced with meal prep for two, school runs, and homework help. The eldest of the two also had hearing impairments and related learning disabilities; the opportunity to work with this family has taught me a lot about working with children with additional needs.
I have also grown up in a very large family, constantly being surrounded by children of all ages, which I believe has given me great first-hand experience at working with children, baby sitting, and aiding them with school work my entire life.

Available to work from September 21st 2022, I have extremely flexible hours due to the majority of my university classes being moved to online- this enables me to be available whenever bests suits yours and your child's needs.
