About Me
My name is Sarah and I live in Hastings with my three dogs. I love the great outdoors and spend as much time as possible walking and exploring with my three grandchildren. My other hobbies include breeding miniature dachshunds, baking, reading and gardening. I am an avid learner and I have been lucky enough to indulge my passion for education by working with children for most of my adult life. I am now extending this by studying The Arts with the Open University.
My Experience
Between 1996 and 2013 I worked as a teaching assistant. Ten of those years were spent in an infant school working with 4-7 yr olds, the other 7yrs in a secondary school. Throughout that time I worked as a general classroom assistant and also on a one to one basis with children who had special educational needs.
My most recent, relevant position was as a nanny/housekeeper to a lovely family who had three girls aged 9, 14 and 16. My role was to collect the children from their schools, take them to their various clubs and activities, cook their dinner and ensure their homework was completed and their bedrooms kept tidy. In addition to this, I performed general housekeeping duties. Sadly, due to a change in their personal circumstances, they no longer require my services.

I am available for mornings, afternoons and evenings but not all day, everyday.
