I am a physically fit, fun, young at heart near 50 year old married mum of 3 grown up children. Looking for babysitting, regular or one offs.
Happy with any age children from newborn.
My Experience
I worked as a full time sole charge nanny for many years, birth upwards from when I was 18 which I enjoyed immensely before moving on to do child minding while I had my own family.
When my youngest of 3 was 6 months I started working at a nursery school in High Halden, local to me which led me into working one to one with a little boy with lots of complex needs. This little boy transferred to the mainstream primary school next door to his nursery where his parents asked if I could transition with him and carry on looking after him. Of course I was more than happy to do this and continued being his one to one carer/TA until he left to go to an SEN school in year 5. I am still in touch with him and his parents to this day, he is now 24.
I continued to work at High Halden Primary School until May 2016 where I left to start a career in full time nursing as an HCA at Benenden Hospital. I loved my job there & learnt so much in the time I was there (4.5 years) but I missed working with children so much. The hospital was adults only so no children’s ward.
My favourite job was always nannying, and although now slightly older i have lots of energy I am veryyoung at heart & I felt this was something I wanted to do again. I have lots of friends with younger children & also now a 16 month old grandson who I adore.
In November 2020 I took the leap back into nannying, I worked with a lovely family for just under 2 years before moving on to my current family who I work for Monday to Friday daytimes, my unicorn family. ??
I babysit for them once or twice a month but have lots of other free time where I am free to babysit.
