About Me
Hello! My name is Victoria, I am 18 years old, I am Spanish and I am working as an Au Pair in London. It's been two months since I moved and I couldn't be happier. I am a calm, loving and cheerful person. I really like taking care of and doing activities with children. I have experience and a certified course in child first aid. I would like to work extra because I have free time from Monday to Friday (except Wednesday) from 9:30 to 15:00. My Experience
I have worked for two years as a babysitter, volunteering at a summer school and tutoring children to help them with their homework. All the parents of the children I have worked with have been very satisfied. I would have no problem giving references, some of them only in Spanish but I can translate them. As a babysitter I have worked with children aged 1-9 in the afternoons when I was leaving high school. I have also taken care of my brother and my little cousins, who are now 2 and 3 years old, one of them with down syndrome and it has not been any problem for me, if not on the contrary a new way of learning. As a volunteer in a summer school I have worked with the smallest groups of about 20 children with the help of other monitors and they have been one of my best experiences, if you give love to the children you always receive a reward from them. And helping children 8-14 years in a particular way, during the summer and after school, especially with children who wanted to improve and learn.
My Qualifications
Right now I am in my Gap Year, I decided to come to London in search of new adventures and improve my level of English. In Spain there is a different educational system, in June I finished a bachelor's degree specialized in arts. I love culture and art, I really like to draw, design and photography. Next year I want to stay here to study at a university and study graphic design at the same time that I work so that I can pay for my accommodation, I don't want my parents to pay me everything.
My Availability
I have full availability during the day, I don't work at night. At least one day a week off. I can start working now, ASAP. I do not have a driver's license but I can travel by public transport. I will be in the UK for 9 months. I would like to have Christmas days off and to be able to travel to Spain to visit my family.
