About Me
I was brought up in France where I went to University before completing a teacher training PGCE in England. I am an Early Years teacher with nursery, infant and primary school experience. I came to teaching later in life having run my own successful business for many years whilst my 3 children were growing up. I enjoy country living and the outdoors as well as cooking. I have traditional values and a positive outlook, with a good sense of humour. Some of my friends say I am a perfectionist, which I think it is a good quality to work as a childcare nanny and private tutor. I will nurture your children, keep them secure and move them on in life skills and learning. I am keen to support a working family in caring for children with teaching. I am happy to cook for the children and I don't mind a little house work as long as it is reasonable with the children. I don't smoke and enjoy well behaved pets.
My Experience
My recent experience has been in a Nursery working with babies all the way through to preschool. Previously to that, I taught Reception and Infants with success, before retiring from full time employment.
I have a wealth of expression with teaching, nuturing and loving children.
I have experience from babies to end of Infants. School year 3.
My Qualifications
I have a law degree, A PGCE in Early years PEDIATRIC FIRST AID and FOOD HYGIENE
My Availability
My days are flexible but I don’t wish to work full time, a maximum of 3/4 days but any in the week hence I have ticked the whole week. My children are now grown up so I can do early morning and later evening care. I am happy with part days if convenient.
