Nanny – HNW Family
Returning to work for a high network family, my role has required flexibility, specifically someone who is adaptable to last minute routine changes. With term-time hours being after school, the role has been inclusive of all after school responsibilities. Such as, school collection, organizing and attending extra curricular activities, cooking balanced meals for the family, homework help and examination preparation, and finally bedtime routine supervision ensuring sleep hours are adhered to. During the school holidays, hours shift to full time, duties remain relatively the same. However, there is the addition of calendar management or both girls, including organizing play dates, holiday clubs, fulfilling each day with tailored activities, and holiday preparation. I am also responsible for all child related duties, including children’s laundry and maintaining tiny playrooms/bedrooms, and all child related communications including liaising with schools/parents/professionals regarding appointments, updates, and clubs. Additional duties include looking after the family dog and babysitting overnight/over weekends as required.

Returning to work as a nanny for a high-profile family, discretion and maintained professionalism have been essential. Within this role I have been solely responsible for the welfare and management of two children, B6 and G9. With duties including, but not limited to, all child related admin. Such as, school/parent communications, weekly schedule maintenance relative to school and extracurricular activities, overseeing homework, evening time routines and finally daily school preparation. In conjunction with ad hoc errands for parents involving the maintenance of the family household, international travel during school holidays and general family support.

Effectively communicate and work with co-workers, to plan, organize and coordinate classroom activities and work assignments such as, school reports or parents’ evenings. Whilst simultaneously being able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills when leading excursions and supervised play. Duties include, but were not limited to, meal-time supervision, supervising and leading stimulating play, engaging educational activities such as phonic lessons, and parental communications.

Ability to work unsupervised as a sole charge nanny for one child, B4. It was my responsibility to organize fun, educational and child centered days, ensuring the child ate a healthy well-balanced meal, arrange, and accompany the child to age-appropriate activities, play dates and events. Furthermore, I was responsible for the tidying and organization of the child’s bedroom/playroom.

Working with SEN children who required emotional and physical support, I became a collaborative team player keen to learn and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Whilst remaining a kind, approachable and respectable individual. Duties included, but were not limited to, meal preparation, providing eating support, organizing, and leading activities available to those of all physical ability, arranging and partaking in excursions and toileting aid (colostomy bag changing).
