My Summary

My Experience

For 5 years, I have been a leader for Chapeltown brownies and rainbows where I often arranged age related games and crafts for the girls to take part in. My time in brownies was very important for the growth in my confidence. It allowed me to grow from a young timid girl into a bubbly young woman. My passion for children was also influenced by my time as a leader because it made me realise how important a good role model is to young kids. I did my work placement at a nursery called Watercliffe Meadow nursery. I thouroughly enjoyed my time there as I love children when they're at the age where they're getting their own personalities and becoming more curious about the world. Here, I was responsible for supervising play and reading times and taking registers. I have also worked at Chesterfield Royal Hospital with vulnerable elderly and as an end of life carer in the community. I was responsible for delivering personal care to less abled patients and keeping a regular log of their statistics whilst making their last weeks as comfortable as possible. I have recently become a mummy myself so understand how important it is for you to feel your babies are safe and protected and I can make sure that happens whilst getting to relive my childhood through fun activities with them.

My Qualifications

I have 8 GCSE's from grade 6-4. These being, english at grade 6, maths at grade 5, science at grade 5-4, health and social care at grade 4, religious education at grade 5, geography at grade 4 and french at grade 5. Level 3 health and social care, extended diploma.
