My Experience
I looked after three children in Bedford. ensuring the safety of the children, interacting, and entertaining them during the designated time frame including morning, afternoons and over-night support and care. I maintained a routine and structure within the home including morning time routines and bed-time routines. I prepared meals, snacks, monitoring sleep and took care of their personal hygiene as instructed by parents. I was in continuous communication with parents, teachers, and nurses of the children.
I picked them up from school, took them home and occasionally accompanied them to appointments such as hospital, dental and eye checks. I selected fun activities and entertainment such as games, outdoor activities, helping with reading and homework, taking them out to the community including parks, shopping, and swimming.
