My Experience
I have been working with SEN children for the past 3 years.
I started working as a Teaching Assistant to then a 1:1 support, helping the child with ASD with various everyday tasks and learning.
I am well rounded in being able to care, educate and play with children by always maintaining boundaries and tough love when needed.
I am creative and have lots of energy, always thinking outside the box with the children I work with. I have lots of experience taking children off site to do various activities, like swimming or even taking them to the zoo. My experience ranges from the age of 1 up to the age of 12.
Over the past year, I have been covering some weekend nanny shifts for a family in London. The child within the family has ASD so my role involved taking him to the park or to different activities, making him lunch or simply just watching TV with him. I pride myself in building up good relationships with the children and the family, to make sure its running smooth for everyone!
