My name is Daisy and I live in West Bridgford. I am a caring, enthusiastic and positive individual who loves working with children and always eager to help!
I am a 25 year old Early Years Specialist teacher recently qualified with a PGCE and QTS. I have over 6 years experience working with children aged 2 - 18. During this time I have had various roles as a teacher, tutor, SEND ta, at summer camps and extensive babysitting- in the UK, internationally and online. Alongside babysitting, I can also help with tutoring and homework if required.
I am DBS qualified and have a paediatric first aid qualification, mental health training and a certificate in safeguarding and looking after young people.
I love being creative, the outdoors, fitness and cooking; I would love to share these hobbies when babysitting. I really enjoy creating new activities for the children to enjoy to help them learn, play, and most importantly have fun!
I have lots of experience with full day babysitting, evenings/ mornings and night time routines.
My Experience
I have over 6 years babysitting experience, looking after children aged 1-15, both individually and with up to 3 children.
I am currently an Early Years reception teacher at a school in Nottingham to a class of 27 children aged 4-5. I have also had experience in a nursery setting and taught up to year 5 in school.
I also occasionally teach English online to both children and adults, internationally.
My Qualifications
I achieved a PGCE and received QTS status in 2022, in addition to a second class honours in my undergraduate degree, Psychology and Society BA (Hons), in 2018.
I have also completed a range of courses, including Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), child mental health and wellbeing, British Sign Language, online safety and a paediatric first aid awareness course.
My Availability
I am available full time during time half term, Easter, and Summer Holidays.
I am also available for occasional weekends and evenings during term time.
