About Me
Hi, I'm Liv, I am a 21yr old living in Bath with 5yrs experience in nannying and childminding. I attended Chesham Grammar School 2011-2018, and then went on to attend the University of Bath to study Education with Psychology which I am currently studying. I have always known I wanted to work with children in any capacity possible- childminding, social work, babysitting, nannying. Nannying is my favourite role as I am able to build a relationship with both the children and family which makes great positive impact on their development and socialisation. I pride myself in being fun, loving and affectionate whilst understanding the importance of boundaries, routine and emotions in allowing your child to be the best they can possibly be. Your child's needs are central to everything I do and can easily adapt to both children's and parents needs and routine.

My Experience
I have five years worth of experience working as a childminding assistant, working with children ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old. Here I have learnt the ability to manage, entertain and care for multiple children of different ages at once. I also have supported multiple children through different stages of life from potty training to first days at secondary school so feel confident in aiding children in every milestone and hiccup they may have during their time with me.
I recently completed a four month placement with the Children in Care Team with Bath and North East Somerset Council whilst attending the University of Bath. On this placement, I learnt the importance of Therapeutic parenting and trauma focused practice which I now use in combination with parent's preferred parenting methods and what works for their child. I feel it is important to support a child in learning to manage and understand their emotions in order to help them grow as well rounded human beings.
I also have a years' experience as a part time nanny for a SEN toddler. I also have experience with hearing, speech & language difficulties as well as a vast number of allergies, including Coeliac and auto immune diseases.
