My Summary

My Experience

I've been involved in working with children for long periods in my life. I used to watch my young cousins when I lived in Spain and also, I carried out a couple short courses in which I usually worked with children. However, I must highlight the one-year experience with children when I worked as an au pair. I looked after the children whilst I lived with the family in their own house. I worked for two different families during this year, the first one was formed by 3 children and both parents. The children were 10 years old, 6 years old and 10 months. Although it was my first time working with babies I had no problems and we created a special bond. In the second one there were the mother and the girl, 3 years. The little girl has various allergies to food, so I had to be very careful. I finished working with them without any healthy issues. Last year, during lockdown, I looked after a 5 year-old boy and helped him to improve his Spanish. Also, I am studying a Marine and Freshwater Biology degree at Edinburgh Napier University.

My Qualifications

Certificate as "Extreme" Sports Monitor, certificate as Leisure Activities Coordinator, 3 years of Biological Sciences degree (Spain), National 5 Biology at Edinburgh College and (currently in the final year) Marine and Freshwater Biology Hons degree at Edinburgh Napier University

My Availability

Late afternoons and evenings, I might be available some morning during the weekdays (depends on university schedule).

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
