Hello!
My name is Kara, I live and have grown up in Winchester and am very keen to start working as a babysitting in the area. I am a incredibly enthusiastic person with a great attitude to working. Working with children has always been a fun and rewarding experience from planning after school/evening activities to helping a child develop a new skill. Even though I can be firm, I enjoy making time with child fun as well as completely tasks which need to be done.
My Experience
Having recently completed my university studies while at university I had partaken in childcare in the area I was studying.
2021-2023: Wimbledon Area. Private household.
Here I looked after siblings, one boy (aged 9) and one girl (ages 7), my job consisted of picking the children up from school, giving them their snack, shower, homework and then a fun activity.
This job allowed me to experience looking after multiple children, making sure to divid my attention while also allowing the children to complete their after school tasks.
2022-2023: Wimbledon Area. Private household.
Here I was looking after one girl (aged 4), in this job I had to give her dinner, after which we played up until bed time where I had to get her ready for bed, brush teeth, get changed, bedtime stories and asleep in bed.
This job was different from the first as she was a lot younger and didn’t have very good communication skills however, I worked around finding out how she communicated and accommodating to that.
My Qualifications
I have no childcare qualifications however, I do have a full DBS check and experience
My Availability
Available to work evenings however, if requested I may be available during day hours.
