About Me
I am a 27 year old teacher with a love for the job I do. I am very passionate about teaching and love to see children shine within my classroom. I am a bubbly and very friendly person. I think it is very important children have fun with their learning and I strive to shape well rounded individuals. After having a baby I now work in the classroom part time as well as tutoring.
My Experience
I have been a qualified teacher for 5 years now and have experience teaching in year 1, year 2 and year 3. I have always taught in a mainstream school however I have had lots of experience with SEND children and I know how to support many needs. I have excellent experience within phonics. I do also have an English degree so I am able to teach English above a primary school level. I have been delivering private tutoring to primary aged children in English, maths and phonics for over a year now.
My Qualifications
PGCSE- primary education
This was a year course at university where I studied primary education and gained my QTS level by teaching in a year 1 classroom for half the year and a year 6 classroom for the last half of the year.
2:1 BA honours English
My Availability
I work part time in the classroom and tutor 2 children already around 3 times a week. There is some availability for sessions term time but not many however there is more available during school holidays.
