My Experience
I worked in a nursery for nearly 4 years, within this I ensured that we provided a safe, fun and exciting environment for the children in my care. This was done by planning lots of exciting activities that interest the children which follows the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure that all areas of development are being covered. During my time at the nursery I built many positive, professional relationships with colleagues, children and parents/carers, providing a safe, trusting care environment, and have ensured that the individual needs and interests of each child is met and have identified warning signs of emotional and developmental problems in children. I was also responsible for being a 1-to-1 for a young child in my care, which meant I had to follow his care plans accordingly and plan activities that suit his needs.
