I am a kind, confident, genuine, loyal and friendly person. I’m ambitious, a natural leader and organised. I believe in being fair to children and helping them understand themselves and the world around them. I enjoy camping, yoga, cycling, hill walking and spending time with friends and family. I truly enjoy working with children and know the importance of how we must nurture and support children in order for them to grow in to unique individuals.
My Experience
Throughout my life I have always been involved with the basic care of children. I had small babysitting jobs throughout highschool. When I left after 5th year, I got accepted for work experience in a local primary school. I enjoyed my time and decided to enrol in college for 2 years to receive my NC and HNC childcare qualification. When I graduated, I moved onto working in a local nursery for a year. I loved the time I had there but wanted to learn more and gain experience. I got a job in a primary school as a classroom assistant which I adored as the school was small and staff and children were very close knit. After a year and a half, I decided I wanted even more experience and knew it was a good idea for me to have covered all age ranges. I applied and got accepted for an addition support needs role in a High School.
I work and study at the same time to gain my degree in Child and Youth Studies.
